How to spend a beautiful day in a productive way?
There are ways and means to spend it.
I started the day by making a list of things I planned to do.
My list comprised of watching a movie, going to the bank, grocery shopping, visit to the nail salon,
sending mails to all my near and dear ones, etcetera, etc.
Half the way went by without me even realizing it. While having my breakfast, I started browsing different channels and started watching a few. That is when it struck me I had spent half a day just idling away.
Did not have the energy to go out and spend time shopping and banking.started doing the laundry, washed the piled up dishes and went out to my lawn to take in some fresh air.
My garden beckoned me and I went towards the jasmine shrub and started digging and adding plant food. A few minutes after I finished feeding the jasmine, my rose bushes called out to me, followed by different plants in my garden. Both, my front and the back yard demanded that I pull out their rivals, the weeds. I did all that my plants demanded of me and when I looked at my watch, it was way past 4 pm. I was tired working over four hours in my garden, thankfully, the weather was milder and that helped me to make my day productive.
If not, I would have just been flipping channels and realized it was time to go to bed without even leaving my couch.
