Chinese Take-Out Day...

I guess, sometimes it is good to take a break from the kitchen and curl up with a good book. At such times, take-out menu lying in a corner comes in handy. There is a great hakka chinese place five minutes walk from my place. Wangs Kitchen. They serve excellent haakka food. and the deals are great too. For a $5 (the portions shown above) it is one full meal with leftovers for half a meal or snack. The Szechuan rice is full of subtle flavors and tastes amazing. I am fond of rice and not a big fan of noodles. My son also loves his rice. But I wanted variety and added hakka noodles, they turned out to be amazing too. Next time, I am planning to ask him to make my noodles Szechaun style.
Had an excellent value for money meal. and managed to almost complete my book. I am reading The Dress Maker of Khair Khana by Gayle Tzemach Lemmon... great read and great food...
That, in my opinion is LIFE and living it up.
